Income Generation

Lack of meaningful work, along with economic hardship, is an issue for vast numbers of blind persons. Unemployment in the developed world may be about 75%¹, and is likely much higher in developing nations.

We offer several services by the blind in the Knoxville, TN area:

Kitting: Sorting and packaging multiple, small, different items into one container (e.g., hardware kits with screws and rivets).
Light manufacturing: Assembly of products, including, but not limited to, small parts for industrial use.
Labeling: Affixing barcodes or product information labels to items.
E-cycling: Scrapping/recycling of laptop and desktop computers.
Wood product sanding: finish smoothing by hand of crafted items.
